About Us
We are an online community of Aneurysm survivors and families, gathered together to meet, share our stories, exchange information, and offer help and support. The faces behind the construction, operation, and maintenance of this site are those of two people intimately familiar with Brain Aneurysms; that of a survivor and the girl who convinced him that he still had a life left.
We have both seen first hand the devastation an Aneurysm can inflict on its victims. We have seen and experienced the pain, the fight for life, the fear, frustration, and the, often, long slow recovery. We have seen it tear apart families, end careers, and disrupt lives seemingly beyond repair. We also know of the grim statistics and countless victims who were not so fortunate.
However, we also know that it is possible to survive an Aneurysm and regain your life. We have not only seen it, but I have experienced it. Often the road to recovery is long and hard and, sadly, some may never fully recover, but you can rebuild a life worth living. It is our hope that this website might play, at least a small role in helping someone to rebuild their life.
We hope that by providing a place for survivors, their families, and friends to communicate with one another and exchange information we might help others to benefit from our experiences.
To make this site a success, to make it a valuable resource we need help. We need your help. We need your participation on the forums we want to hear your story, or the story of your loved one and for you to consider this your site. Post your victories as well as your setbacks. Share your successes and your failures so that others may learn from these experiences.
Currently, the website contains a forum-message board to allow conversations and discussions between members as well as galleries for you to post stories of your experience and photographs. If all goes well, we have plans to expand the site further.
Your ideas and opinions are important to us and we would like to hear any suggestions or criticisms you have that would improve this website. Please do not hesitate to contact us or post your comments on the forum.

I am not a doctor, nurse, or any other type of medical or health care professional. Nor am I an expert on Aneurysms. However, I am an expert on the experience of having suffered a ruptured Aneurysm and the subsequent treatment I received. This site should not be considered to be, nor is it intended to be, a definitive source of information regarding Aneurysms. I have made every attempt to ensure the accuracy of any information presented here, but again, I am not a medical professional and my own interpretation of this information could be in error.
